A soothing 2 hour session of gentle Yoga (done as Mindful Movement - which brings together the body and mind "in the here and the now"), with some periods of still Mindfulness meditation.
All this takes place under the expert guidance of Pete Anderson, a popular local Mindfulness teacher and professional Yoga practitioner.
£10 a session (you can do individual sessions, or book the entire month)
Wednesdays 19th April, 26th April, 3rd May, 10th May
In these weekly sessions Pete will use Yoga in the Kashmir style. In this form of Yoga we work in a dynamic, flowing way that is in tune with our body. (Unlike going to the gym - which depletes the body - we will be working in a way that nourishes, rejuvenates and "gives" to our body.)
Sessions are suitable for all, whatever age or physical condition.
No previous Yoga experience is necessary.
If you have back or joint problems, or any form of significant medical condition, that's fine but please let Pete know on the day before the session begins.
A series of four of these mid-week sessions is planned through April and may, beginning on 19th April.
Yoga mats provided or bring your own.
